Personalised Recommendations and Watch History

Our recommendation system learns from your viewing habits to surface content you are likely to enjoy. Here is how it works and how to manage it.

How Recommendations Work

• Recommendations are based on what you have watched, titles you have rated, and what similar viewers enjoy.
• The more you watch, the more personalised your recommendations become.
• Each profile has entirely independent recommendations — watching on one profile does not affect another.

Rating Content

After watching a title, rate it using the thumbs up / thumbs down system. A thumbs up tells the system to recommend similar content; thumbs down suppresses that type of content from future recommendations.

Viewing Your Watch History

1. Go to Account Settings → Viewing Activity.
2. You will see a full list of titles watched on the selected profile, including the date.

Removing Titles from Watch History

• Next to any title in your Viewing Activity, click the remove icon (circle with a line through it).
• Removed titles will no longer influence your recommendations.
• To clear all history, select Hide All — note this will reset your recommendations entirely.
