How to Cast or Mirror Content to Your TV

Casting and Screen Mirroring Guide

You can watch content on your TV by casting from your phone or tablet, or by mirroring your screen.

Casting via the App

1. Make sure your phone/tablet and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the app on your mobile device and start playing a title.
3. Tap the Cast icon (rectangle with Wi-Fi waves) in the playback controls.
4. Select your TV or streaming device from the list.
5. Playback will move to your TV. Use your phone as a remote control.

Compatible Devices

• Chromecast and Chromecast-built-in TVs
• Apple TV (via AirPlay)
• Smart TVs with built-in casting support
• Fire TV and Roku devices (via screen mirroring from supported phones)

AirPlay (iOS/macOS)

1. Start playing a title in the app.
2. Tap the AirPlay icon in the playback controls.
3. Select your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV.

Troubleshooting Cast Issues

• Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network — different networks (e.g., 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz) can prevent discovery.
• Restart the app and try casting again.
• Restart the TV or streaming device.
• Update the app to the latest version.
